Ingredients
Del Monte Gourmet Spirali Pasta, cooked – 400 grams
Del Monte Pineapple Slices cut into strips – 2 slices
Del Monte Black Sliced Olives – 2 tbsp
Red Bell Pepper cut into strips – 1 medium
Iceberg Lettuce, shredded – 1 small head
Dressing
:
Salt & Freshly cracked black pepper – to taste
Del Monte TWANGO – ½ cup /as required
Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
Garnish
:
Fresh Basil Leaves – handful
Cheddar Cheese cut into small cubes – 50 grams
Method
Boil 200 grams pasta as per the instructions on the pack. Drain & refresh the pasta with plenty of cold water.
Whisk all the dressing ingredients together & chill it in the refrigerator.
Chill & combine all the salad ingredients together in a large salad bowl and dress it with prepared dressing, just before serving.
Portion it out in the individual bowls, garnish with a leaf of fresh basil & a cube of cheddar cheese.
