Twango Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • Del Monte Gourmet Spirali Pasta, cooked – 400 grams
  • Del Monte Pineapple Slices cut into strips – 2 slices
  • Del Monte Black Sliced Olives – 2 tbsp
  • Red Bell Pepper cut into strips – 1 medium
  • Iceberg Lettuce, shredded – 1 small head
Dressing:
  • Salt & Freshly cracked black pepper – to taste
  • Del Monte TWANGO – ½ cup /as required
  • Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 1 tbsp

Garnish:

  • Fresh Basil Leaves – handful
  • Cheddar Cheese cut into small cubes – 50 grams

 

Method

  1. Boil 200 grams pasta as per the instructions on the pack. Drain & refresh the pasta with plenty of cold water.
  2. Whisk all the dressing ingredients together & chill it in the refrigerator.
  3. Chill & combine all the salad ingredients together in a large salad bowl and dress it with prepared dressing, just before serving.
  4. Portion it out in the individual bowls, garnish with a leaf of fresh basil & a cube of cheddar cheese.
