Basil (fresh or dried) – handful if fresh or 1 tsp if dried
Salt & red chilli flakes – to taste
Grated cheese – 2-3 tbsp
Method
Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Sauté garlic & onion until translucent. Add tomato puree, simmer for a while & finish with the sliced olives, basil, salt & red chilli flakes.
Cook Spaghetti in 3 litres of salted boiling water for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally & drain well.
Serve hot spaghetti topped with spicy sauce & grated cheese.
