Spaghetti Siciliana

Ingredients

  • De Monte Gourmet Spaghetti Pasta – 300 grams
  • Del Monte Siciliana Pasta Sauce – 1 bottle
  • Del Monte Sliced Black Olives – 2 tbsp
  • Mixed Bell Peppers (red, yellow, green) – ½ each
  • Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Parmesan Shavings – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh Parsley /Basil Leaves – handful

Method

  1. Cook the Del Monte Gourmet Spaghetti Pasta in 3 litres of salted boiling water for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally & drain well.
  2. Sauté mixed bell peppers (cut into triangles or diamond shape) briefly in olive oil in a large frying pan, add “Siciliana Sauce” and half the olives, mix well & heat through.
  3. Serve hot spaghetti mixed or topped with hot Siciliana sauce, garnished with shavings of parmesan cheese, remaining olives & fresh parsley or basil leaves.
